It's amazing what God can do with so little and make into something so big. When I first came to Montreal I expected that I would be married and we would go to church and after every service we would go home and live our happily married lives togethor. After ALL that God had done for me I was determined to live for him but I never planned on doing anything...except go to church and do the "norm". However when I arrived here I quickly realized that ALOT was expected of me here. Were here to work for the Lord and he commands us to "GO" and "Tell the world" his gospel. I realized that alot of my problems in the past were because I did nothing for the Lord and thus I was idle and the Bible says an "Idle mind is the devils workshop". So now I was doing something...reluctantly and also because it was somewhat strange to me? Then as time went on I was assisting my pastor in "NDG" our daughter work here in Montreal. We actually renovated a place into our "NDG" church which we are currently residing and thanks be to God we are baptizing souls and many are being filled with the Holy Ghost.
Early last year my pastor asked me to be the youth leader of our NDG youth and to be honest I didn't want it. Who was I? To tell someone how to be saved with all the garbage I did in my past. Then the Holy Spirit spoke to me and told me that "I didn't save you from Cancer or deliver you from Jail and certain prison time for you to just go back and sit and do nothing. I brought you to Montreal to work for me and for you to fulfill what I have commanded in my word for you to do. When I say "Go and sin no more" I meant the sins of your past are gone but dont do it again and dont do the things that will take you back there. You dont have to have great talent to do my will. Just trust in me and put ME first and I will take care of the rest."
We are now a couple weeks away from our 1rst year anniversary as NDG youth in Montreal Quebec. Souls are coming and people's lives are being changed. Young people that were left for dead (spiritually) are coming alive. It's growing and last week we had almost 30 people in attendance. Why? Because God told me to plant the seed and that HE would do the rest. It takes much prayer and fasting. It takes time, effort,sacrifice but it is worth it all! I am not a great preacher...by no stretch of imagination. I wish I could preach like Pstr Graham or Pstr King or Pstr Benjie but I am me and if God can use a donkey then he can use me because it's God who gives the annointing, God who speaks to the hungry heart, God who changes minds and God who mends the broken heart. It is God who establishes his church and he can use anything..if were willing and we trust him.
I say all this....not to boast or brag but to offer up Glory and Honor to the most high God, the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords. That with Jesus Christ even a boy with a nasty record as mine can have the slate wiped clean and his fresh anointing can use me and you and so many other countless souls that were once trapped in sin.
